The spirit of Ireland is coming to The Rocks this May as Comhaltas hosts the Fleadh Cheoil and takes over for a weekend of music, culture, and celebration. From 22–24 May, the heart of traditional Irish music will echo through the historic laneways, bringing the energy and charm of a true fleadh to Sydney.

The weekend will provide music and events in various venues throughout the Rocks and Sydney with The Doss House and Frank Mac’s at the centre of it all, a lineup of talented musicians will gather to fill both venues with authentic Irish trad sessions across the weekend. Expect lively tunes, intimate performances, and the kind of atmosphere that makes a fleadh so special, where music flows freely and everyone is part of the session.

Whether you're Irish at heart or discovering trad music for the first time, this is your invitation to experience a slice of Ireland right here in Sydney. If you play an instrument, feel free to bring it a long because at the heart of the fleadh is community and everyone is encouraged.
